Now I'm off to Penland again. This time, I will be participating in an artist/instructor retreat for a week. 110 instructors, all of whom have taught at Penland, will gather to share, collaborate and have fun. I am honored to be included in this group of instructors. Many of them are people I admire very much.

oh heavens I ´d love to be a fly on the wall at this retreat...wow!!! You´ll be in good company then for sure! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteRandi, hello!
ReplyDeleteI saw "Butterflies in My Stomach" at the Bookopolis opening last night at BookWorks in West Asheville. Fabulous!
Were you there? I would have loved to have met you. I have a particular interest in women's relationship to our body's center -- call it stomach, belly, gut, whatever.
Perhaps you'd like to write a guest entry and post a photo of that book on my blog, Belly Bulletin? You'll find a link to the blog from my site at loveyourbelly (dot) com
Enjoy North Carolina while you're here!
It was a great retreat, Cynthia. I'm still processing it all. Being there is like being in a bubble of love...
ReplyDeleteI was there. So sorry I missed meeting you. I was engrossed in all the fabulous books. I hope to come again next year. I LOVE Asheville!
ReplyDeleteHi Randi, are you teaching again in Penland in 2012 ? Am so curious to know, cheers, Sophie
ReplyDeleteI'm not teaching at Penland in 2012, but I would gladly return if they ask me. Penland is always interested in requests for teachers from the general public. Thanks for asking, Sophie! I will post any classes I teach on this blog so keep checking back...
ReplyDeleteI wish . . . . Penland is a very long way from Alberta. *sigh* :-)
