My Art Work Is Off To Penland

This is Patience
This is Butterflies In My Stomach

This is a close-up of Colony 45 Colony 45, Patience and Butterflies In My Stomach have been shipped off to the Penland School of Crafts gallery for the exhibit, Artist, Educator, Mentor, Rascal: Dolph Smith & Friends http://penland.org/events/events.html . This event honors Dolph Smith for his 23+ years teaching at the Penland School of Crafts. Dolph selected 12 artists to participate in the exhibit with him and I am honored to be one of them. The exhibit opens March 23rd and closes May 9th. The public reception is March 26th.

It was a little scary for me to ship off my 3 best pieces. My fingers are crossed that they arrive safely.
