I hope you'll enjoy this interview by the fabulous Rice Freeman-Zachery http://voodoonotes.blogspot.com/ about my artists' book, Patience. Rice has the knack for asking the questions that you'd want to ask. I found them fun to answer, too.

Hi Randi!
ReplyDeleteExcellent interview! Rice has such a talent for making others feel comfortable when she talks to them. You two sounded like you were old friends. ; )
I am in such awe over Patience! I kept thinking-when Rice asked if you would sell or donate Patience- how can you give up your baby? I mean, literally, you gave birth to this wonderful piece of art! lol... I would have a very hard time letting go, even to someone I thought would treasure it for what it is.
I also felt a connection with you in your comment about being an introvert. It drives my husband insane that I don't like to go to parties and night clubs. I work with the public all day! I need quiet time to unwind and recharge! Thank goodness I have a journal to doodle in... I'm pretty good at zoning out...
Take it easy

Hi Randi,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your podcast with Rice! Shes great and so much fun.
I love bookarts... not the exacting part, but love making books anyway. Patience is amazing! I thought you had always been a bookartist - WOW!
And I so agree with your post on gratitude/gratefulness.
Debbie
