Marbling and Miniature Bookbinding Workshop with Randi Parkhurst

This 2-day workshop will be held at the Seattle Center for Book Arts

Sat., Feb.13th & Sun., Feb. 14th, noon - 5pm, $140

Learn to make captivating miniature books and marbled papers in this unique and fun workshop. On the first day we will paint our own papers for our book pages with watercolor, using an easy technique. No painting experience is necessary. We will sew our books with an exposed spine and hide the tape ends by cutting a channel into the book's cover. On the second day we will marble paper using watercolor. These papers are lovely and easier to make than you might think. Time permitting, we will use these papers to cover our miniature books. Each student will go home with several sheets of marbled paper and a miniature book they will treasure.
